The Role:

The Manager, Paid Social excels at campaign management and flawless execution. They are vocal 

and engaged leaders on their client and functional teams. They have the ability to carry out 

strategy through structuring and planning with excellent client stewardship capabilities. The 

position requires someone that excels in high-paced, ever changing environment dedicated to 

campaign success.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, advertising or communications)
  • 3-4 years of work experience managing online marketing/advertising accounts
  • Experience with managing one or more direct reports
  • Ability to build partnerships and manage campaigns in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of stress tolerance
  • Has strong knowledge of direct response as well as awareness marketing principles and strategies
  • Have polished presentation, communication and listening skills
  • Have strong organizational skills that allow for the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Be confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation

Responsibilities

Client Management:

  • Work closely with the Associate Director and Director to help drive overall paid social strategy and associated tactics to meet client's goals
  • Work closely with the integrated media, creative and data teams as well as external partners to facilitate and deliver succinct information to the client partners
  • Act as the main POC for day to day clients delivering timely and detailed responses
  • Receive, prioritize and manage priorities as well as ad-hoc requests to ensure they are executed on time and to client expectations by entire client team
  • Capability to effectively present recommendations and ideas as well as merchandise successes to the client teams
  • Bring new proactive ideas to help meet client goals and grow business

Team Management:

Support the Associate Director and/or Director on day to day requests as well as ongoing deliverables by disseminating and delegating appropriately across the team

  • Effectively manage, train and grow a team of Associate(s) and Senior Associate(s)
  • Educate team on latest trends, best practices, technologies, etc.
  • Demonstrates appropriate judgment through proper escalation and strong problem solving skills
  • Establish oneself as an expert within the social medium among the team
  • Identify and proposition to management ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Demonstrate the capability to provide constructive and tangible feedback to the more junior team members to incite continued growth and improvement

Strategy & Analytics:

  • Display deep rooted understanding of business concepts and client objectives in order to 

identify campaign opportunities

  • Ability to develop and implement data driven Social strategy across a multitude of publishers
  • Capability to design, present and analyze RFPs to publishing partners to extract the latest and greatest opportunities to integrate into client marketing efforts
  • Exhibits exemplary communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to internal and external teams
  • Foster understanding of multiple platform data sources including but not limited to: Kenshoo, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads and Pinterest and ideate on the most effective and efficient ways in which to culminate and present data
  • Understand how to collect and analyze data in a regard that is easily digestible for client partners
  • Continually look for opportunities to optimize the media mix and tactics based on data trends

  • Paid social optimizations (proactive and reactive)
  • Forecasting and opportunity/gap analysis
  • Campaign management tools, including bid rules/management
  • Advanced social knowledge
  • Monitoring new social trends and products and evaluating application to client
  • Research tools/competitive analysis
  • Budget/pacing and billing
  • Understanding integrated media
  • Industry trends

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$50,000-$95,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
