Preferred Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years of call center or patient access leadership experience preferred
- Master's in healthcare administration or MBA preferred
- Previous clinic or hospital scheduling experience required
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary; ability to interact with a wide range of staff and hospital personnel in a professional manner; customer service skills must be strong, genuine and noticeable
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and achieve effective time management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and identify training needs to ensure team effectiveness and individual growth.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Patient Access Center, ensuring efficient and timely handling of referrals, call requests, pre-registration, and point of service collections.
- Develop and implement standardized workflows and processes to optimize efficiency and enhance the patient experience.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that all interactions with patients and stakeholders reflect a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, striving to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the expansion of centralized scheduling services across the health care system.
- Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes, improve access to care, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Work closely with IT teams and vendors to identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions that support the goals of the Patient Access Center.
- Ensure seamless integration of scheduling, registration, and other systems to optimize efficiency and data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards governing patient access and registration processes.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and committees to address system-wide initiatives and projects.
