As a Planning Manager at Giorgio Armani Corporation, you will play an essential role a strategic, analytical, and commercially driven Planning Manager to lead inventory and financial planning across our US business. This role will partner closely with Merchandising, Sales, E-commerce, Retail, Finance, and Operations to drive sales, margin, and inventory productivity while supporting the brand's growth objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong retail planning expertise with a deep understanding of consumer trends, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced apparel environment.

Develop and manage seasonal merchandise financial plans for the US business
Own sales, inventory, and receipt forecasts across channels and categories
Analyze business performance and identify risks and opportunities
Drive in-season inventory optimization strategies to maximize sell-through and profitability
Business Analysis & Reporting
Deliver actionable reporting and insights on sales trends, inventory productivity, and key KPIs
Lead weekly business reviews and present strategy recommendations
Build forecasting models and scenario plans to support decision-making
Monitor category, style, and channel performance to inform future buys and planning strategies
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Merchandising on assortment strategies and buy plans
Partner with Ecommerce and Retail teams to support channel-specific growth initiatives
Work closely with Finance to align forecasts and annual operating plans
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor planners and/or assistant planners
Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and high-performance team environment
Improve planning tools, recaps, processes, and reporting capabilities
Qualifications & Skills
5-8+ years of merchandise planning experience within apparel, fashion, or retail
Strong understanding of retail math, forecasting, and inventory management
Experience managing OTB (Open-to-Buy) and financial planning processes
Advanced Excel skills; experience with retail planning systems preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience managing direct reports
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Economics, or related field
The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly rate within the range of $120,000 - $125,000 with a comprehensive benefits package including: paid time off, parental leave, disability leave, bereavement, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions.
