A Manager, Practice Implementation is a seasoned practice manager who is responsible for implementation activities related to the transition of new practices into Meridian Health Resources. Working with the Director of Operations, coordinates all the human resources, finance, EMR, billing, operations, realty, training, staff orientation tasks required to ensure an effective, efficient, and fiscally successful practice transition.
Responsibilities:
A day in the life of a Manager, Practice Implementation at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Working with Systems Development, ensures that all team members are trained on the GE Centricity Business system and are informed of MHR`s policies/processes regarding timeliness, completeness and accuracy of appointments, registration, and charge/payment posting.
- Reinforces the importance of Cash Policy.
- Assists with practice Go Live. Working with the EMR team, ensures that all team members are trained on EMR and assists with practice Go Live.
- Effectively transitions the new practice to the Regional Practice Administrator in a way that ensures that all of the objectives, tasks, and requirements have been met prior to the transition.
- Communicates frequently with the Regional Practice Administrator and Director of Operations regarding the transition process and issues and seeks guidance as needed.
- Enhances leadership skills through maintaining knowledge of best practices in the industry by attending professional conferences, reading industry literature, and participating in webinars.
- Working with Human Resources Manager/Team, coordinates the Human Resources process for on-boarding of new practice team members, including timely completion of paperwork.
- Assists team members with understanding time and attendance process/policies and provides education on the Meridian Way, Galaxy recognition program, Gallup team member surveys, table of organization, HIPAA and Corporate Compliance, liaison meetings, scholarship opportunities and career path programs.
- Assists in planning effective, efficient use of human resources in assigned areas and assists with hiring process.
- Effectively introduces the practice manager to the key indicators and financial reports used to monitor practice`s financial performance, including visits, wrvus, days in A/R, FTEs and staff/physician ratios, revenue and expenses.
- Works with Practice Managers to explain/reinforce /monitor Daily/Weekly/Monthly check list. Orients physicians and team members to the MHR quality program and specific quality indicators that will be measured in their practice .
- Informs and educates the Practice about our commitment to Patient Satisfaction, and provides instruction to managers about patient satisfaction reports and benchmarks.
- Assists with vendor set up/notification (medical and office supplies laboratories, OSHA, POL, CLIA, etc) Frequently makes site visits to practices to ensure expectations are adhered to and provides additional training as needed.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor`s Degree preferred in health or business administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Must have experience overseeing multiple practices.
- Prior practice implementation experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Starting Minimum Rate:
Minimum rate of $92,144.00 Annually
