Job Summary
The Manager of Product Management is responsible for leading marketing initiatives that drive product success and customer engagement. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, focusing on understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics. Oversees a team of product marketers, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure alignment with the company's overall marketing strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with company goals.
Identify market opportunities and define product positioning, pricing, and messaging strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product marketers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Provide guidance and support on marketing initiatives and professional growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product strategies and marketing initiatives.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to achieve marketing goals.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Launch Management:
Oversee the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring all marketing materials and resources are prepared.
Track launch performance and gather feedback to refine future strategies.
Marketing Campaign Development:
Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and events.
Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
Sales Enablement:
Create effective sales tools and training materials to support the sales team in communicating product benefits.
Conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure understanding of product features and competitive advantages.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Establish KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
