Position Summary

\n

We are seeking an ambitious, analytical, and execution-oriented Project Finance / Capital Markets Professional (open to Associate through Manager level depending on experience) to join the team in Houston. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a central role in underwriting asset acquisitions, structuring project debt and tax equity, executing transferability deals, and building scalable financial strategy across a rapidly expanding development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Underwriting: Build, update, and audit dynamic project finance models to evaluate asset returns (IRR, NPV, ROIC), PPA pricing, sensitivity scenarios, and debt sizing for distributed and utility-scale solar projects.
• \n
• Capital Raising & Transaction Execution: Assist in structuring and closing project-level debt, tax equity, and IRA transferability transactions; manage data rooms, third-party advisors, and lender due diligence workstreams.

• Pipeline & Portfolio Analysis: Track portfolio performance, evaluate development pipeline economics, and leverage modern financial tools to streamline corporate and project-level reporting.

• Commercial Support: Collaborate with business development, engineering, and legal teams to analyze PPA structures, site lease terms, and interconnection costs to ensure project bankability.
• \n
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for external equity partners, lenders, tax equity investors, and off-takers.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience: 2-6+ years of experience in project finance, capital markets, investment banking, or corporate development within the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, or energy storage experience required).

• Financial Expertise: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting, with a strong grasp of project finance mechanics, debt metrics (DSCR), and US tax equity/IRA transferability structures.
• \n
• Execution Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile developer environment.
• \n
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX.
