Description

Job Title: Product/Project Manager

Location: Pomona 91768 - Hybrid: Onsite M & Tu

Duration: 6 Months Contract with possible extension

Pay Range: $70.00 - $75.00/hr

 

Education Requirement:        

A. High School Diploma or Equivalent

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:       

  • Lead/manage multiple, programmatic projects (between 100 – 150 small/medium projects within a portfolio) with responsibility for results in terms of scope, costs, schedule, methods, and outcomes
  • Provides direction for the project team and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including, scoping and project initiation, planning and design, dependencies (e.g., material delivery, environmental, permitting), construction, and project close-out activities
  • Direct involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution. Identifies problems and solutions.
  • Collaborates to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables and budgets.
  • Utilizes project controls in exercising budget and schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring such as variance analysis, maintaining schedules and project plans, identifying trends, and assessing performance against budget targets
  • Works independently with minimal project analytical support (e.g., responsible to manage action items, process change control, set meeting agendas, take meeting minutes)
  • Resolves issues and ensures task completion by establishing priorities and resolving conflicts with team members and functional managers

 

Required Skills/Attributes:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 7+ years of project management experience with projects in the field
  • Skilled in MS suite, Teams, SAP, Primavera P6 (or equivalent scheduling tool)

 

Desired Skills/Attributes:      

  • Project Management Professional certification
  • Substation project management, construction, engineering or related utility experience
  • Organized, good communicator, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and proactive
