Adecco is currently assisting our client, a leading global automotive organization, in recruiting for a Manager, Regional Strategy & Operations position. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project or program management professional to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and cross-functional collaboration across North American operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting. This position focuses on driving initiatives forward, improving visibility into project progress, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring alignment across business units and regional stakeholders. While the role partners closely with technology teams, it is primarily focused on project management, business strategy, and operational coordination.

Pay Rate: $50-$60/HR DOE
Project & Program Management: Coordinate strategic initiatives across regional business units and manufacturing facilities, tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
Strategic Planning: Gather business priorities and planning inputs, helping translate organizational objectives into actionable plans and measurable goals.
Portfolio & Risk Management: Maintain visibility into project status, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, and outstanding decisions. Identify potential roadblocks and coordinate appropriate escalation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships across business functions, regional teams, manufacturing operations, and technology stakeholders to promote alignment and accountability.
Executive Reporting: Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, status reports, dashboards, and briefing materials that communicate progress, risks, recommendations, and decisions required.
Governance & Investment Planning: Coordinate documentation and stakeholder inputs for business cases, investment requests, governance reviews, and leadership presentations.
Meeting & Action Coordination: Facilitate planning sessions, working groups, and leadership meetings. Maintain action logs, track commitments, and ensure timely follow-up.
Cross-Regional Alignment: Identify opportunities to standardize planning practices, improve collaboration, reduce duplication, and share resources across regions and manufacturing locations.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to project tracking, reporting templates, planning processes, and portfolio visibility.
Issue Resolution: Work with stakeholders to clarify challenges, assess business impacts, identify decision owners, and coordinate resolution of issues requiring leadership attention.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology Management, Operations, or a related field required.
Approximately 5–7 years of experience in project management, program management, PMO, strategic planning, business operations, portfolio management, consulting, or business transformation.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and driving projects through completion.
Experience working across multiple business units, geographic regions, or complex organizational structures preferred.
Manufacturing, automotive, or multinational corporate experience is a plus.
Experience supporting governance processes, executive reporting, business cases, or strategic planning activities is preferred.
Strong project management, planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills, including the ability to develop polished presentations, reports, and project trackers.
Ability to translate complex information into clear plans, recommendations, and actionable next steps.
Experience tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables.
Ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant project or portfolio management certifications.
