A Glimpse of the Job
As Manager of Research Compliance, you'll play a key role in supporting the responsible and ethical use of animals in research, teaching, and testing activities. Working closely with the Director, you'll provide leadership and subject matter expertise to ensure departmental operations align with federal and state regulations. You'll oversee reports of animal concerns, adverse events, and noncompliance issues while managing inspection, audit, and oversight processes that promote a culture of accountability and excellence. In this role, you'll partner with researchers and stakeholders across the institution, offering guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices. You'll also develop and deliver training that helps the research community navigate complex compliance expectations with confidence.
