Manager Retail Pharmacy Services - Outpatient Specialty

Under administrative supervision, the Manager of Retail Pharmacy Services is responsible for the oversight of operation of pharmacy retail services, the day to day operation of the outpatient pharmacy, and continuously improving services to meet customer needs. These responsibilities include management of assigned staff; ensuring the orderly and efficient delivery of services; coordination of information systems; management of equipment and supplies; development and implementation of budgets; oversight of billing, revenues, and expenditures; and compliance with applicable legal and accreditation standards. Works closely with other professional services to implement related retail/outpatient pharmacy services within organization. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.

Education Qualifications

• Master's Degree Pharmacy
• Master's Degree Healthcare Admin
• Master's Degree Business Admin

Licenses and Certifications

• Pharmacist

Experience Qualifications

• Level of knowledge ordinarily obtained through the completion of a standard program from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacy practice residency or extensive community practice experience.
• Minimum five (5) years experience as a retail pharmacy manager/supervisory capacity
