Work you'll do

As a Manager on the SAP team, you will be responsible for helping clients define, implement, and sustain enterprise data governance capabilities across complex SAP environments.

• Lead SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and data governance workstreams, including solution design, work planning, delivery oversight, and team execution across one or more master data domains.

• Advise client stakeholders on data governance operating models, including stewardship structures, policies, standards, decision rights, workflows, and data quality measures.

• Oversee data migration and conversion strategies across SAP landscapes, coordinating with finance, supply chain, customer, and other enterprise data workstreams.

• Guide SAP MDG architecture decisions, including domain scope, workflow design, integration approach, and alignment with broader SAP architecture.

• Manage workstream scope, schedule, staffing, financials, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality while coaching and developing team members.

• Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and identify opportunities to expand client value through MDM, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled governance capabilities.

Our teams combine industry knowledge, functional experience, and technology capabilities to support first-time implementations, business-led enhancements, and large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs.

Professionals in the practice work with leading organizations across industries to modernize operations, improve process performance, and unlock value through cloud, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 10+ years of experience in SAP, enterprise data management, ERP, or consulting.

• 8+ years of SAP consulting, enterprise data management, or ERP consulting experience.

• 5+ years of SAP MDG, MDM, or enterprise data governance experience, including leadership of at least 1 workstream or team.

• Experience contributing to at least 4 SAP MDG, MDM, or enterprise data governance implementations, including at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations

• Experience delivering SAP MDG or data governance capabilities across at least 2 master data domains, such as material, business partner, customer, vendor, finance, or custom domains.

• Experience designing or implementing a data governance operating model that included at least 3 components, such as stewardship roles, policies, standards, decision rights, workflows, or data quality measures.

• Experience managing at least 1 client-facing workstream with responsibility for scope, budget or financials, schedule, staffing or team performance, risks, dependencies, delivery quality, and client workshops with business and technology stakeholders.

• Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work performed and the clients and industries or sectors served.

Preferred

• Master's degree.

• 2+ years of professional service s delivery experience supporting large-enterprise transformation engagements.

• Experience leading SAP MDG, MDM, or enterprise data governance workstreams or teams with responsibility for scope, schedule, staffing, financials, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality.

• Experience with SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA across at least 1 implementation, including integration with at least 1 broader SAP data or technology platform such as SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Information Steward, or SAP Data Services.

• Experience integrating MDG with at least 1 data quality, MDM, analytics, or non-SAP platform.

• Contribution to at least 1 proposal, estimate, statement of work, or business development activity for SAP MDG, MDM, or data governance.

• Experience on at least 1 engagement involving data-governance change management, organizational design, or AI-enabled data-governance capabilities.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $134,500 to $265,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
