The Manager of Production Scheduling has accountability for the Scheduling team supporting Sanford PGS Assets. Working in partnership with Supply Chain, Operations, EMU and other key site partners, the Manager is responsible for driving the standardization and implementation of scheduling best practices across Sanford and for proactively identifying applicable system and process improvements, and for driving and obtaining schedule adherence and related performance targets for the site. This role is critical in establishing a Right First Time (RFT) environment that ensures highly efficient utilization of equipment and resources in support of the site’s plan of record.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
In this role, you will:
Ensure efficient and effective scheduling processes across assets- responsible for scheduling coordination across all PGS assets.
Manages finite schedulers for all areas.
Drives consistency and standardization across assets and site for scheduling processes.
Partners with GSC Production Planners to ensure alignment and asset availability/assumptions.
Collaborates with SAP teams and Material Planners to ensure demand signal accuracy.
Partners with Supply Chain Product Lead, Operations, and technical groups to ensure RFT scheduling activities for new product introduction.
Accountable for ensuring efficient utilization of equipment that best meets product and schedule needs.
Ensures the effective implementation of agreed activities through building support and momentum for change across functions on site.
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to lead and participate in teams at all levels of management required.
Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling and demonstrated experience optimizing processes.
Thorough knowledge and experience using advanced scheduling tools, performing bottleneck analysis and scenario planning.
Understanding of GMP manufacturing process, requirements for production and non-production activities to be executed.
Expertise in SAP, including managing process orders, executing MRP activities, aligning/correcting demand signals within scheduling horizon and BOM/recipe build.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE (Preferred Requirements)
Proficiency in Supply Chain practices and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
A solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
Strong grasp of operational and financial analysis.
Certification in Six Sigma or Lean management.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $106,000.00 to $176,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
