What You’ll Do
The ASPCA is seeking a multidisciplinary video producer that will develop, shoot, edit and optimize content for social media to bring our mission to save, transform and protect animals to life. This producer serves as a critical bridge between the Multimedia and Social Media teams, translating social strategy into compelling, social-first content that tells the ASPCA’s story and engages our audiences. The ASPCA's Manager of Social Video Production will create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn by utilizing original footage and assets from the Multimedia team and organizational collaborators to tell stories, share information and drive social engagement.
The Manager of Social Video Production will be proficient in all aspects of production - from video ideation and coordinating shoot logistics, to independent camera and audio production, to meticulously organized edits and implementing motion graphics. Equally as important as their technical abilities, the ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse eager to apply both innovative storytelling techniques for social audiences as well as traditional forms of video engagement. In addition to producing video and collaborating with the larger Creative + Multimedia team, the Manager of Social Video Production will work closely with ASPCA’s Social Media team, providing daily and long-term coordination of visual content and ensuring that all social video content aligns with both ASPCA’s brand and our audience growth and engagement strategies.
Finally, the ASPCA’s Manager of Social Video Production will provide expertise in online video optimization, including sharing their understanding of how focus, style and tone impact audience engagement, how to accurately measure video success across each social media channel, and how to leverage SEO for video content discovery.
The Manager of Social Video Production reports directly to the Director of Multimedia and has no direct reports.
Where and When You’ll Work
This position is an on-site role and reports to ASPCA’s New York City location.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% annually, as needed.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The target hiring range is for new hire offers only, and staff compensation may increase beyond the maximum hiring range based on performance over time. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. The expected hiring salary range for this role is set forth below and may be modified in the future.
