Job Duties: Troubleshooting, researching, and resolving major defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in systems functions, outputs, and content. Working to quicken response time to system monitors, alerts, escalations and all outages. Providing 24/7 on-call support on rotating schedule including specific designated systems. Studying software documentation to understand applications business and technical alignment for providing maximum support. Analyzing statistics and Incidents to develop and execute availability improvement plans. Focusing on service restoration and reducing Mean Time To Restoration (MTTR).; Maintaining space requirements on server. Acquiring and mastering the general skill set required for supporting and restoring services for all management designated applications and system. Continuing comprehension of proprietary systems and subsequent system and procedural updates. Providing the role of SME for the systems designated by Management. Communicating to the Management about service disruption and taking initial measures for damage control. Performing routine maintenance on application servers and track system performance. Providing outage and service restoration details to Operations Command Center for degradation statistics and root cause analysis. This position is fully remote and reports to HQ office in Westlake, TX.

What you have

Job Requirements: Requires Bachelor''s or Master''s in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a related occupation (60 months with a bachelor''s degree or 36 months with a master''s degree). . Experience must include 36 months of experience involving the following: SQL and Oracle database; Java, web servers, and middleware software application support; Software Architecture, troubleshooting techniques, & root cause analysis; Automating routine activities using shell/bash scripts and cronjob; Failover, High Availability, Disaster Recovery planning & testing for Production applications; and SSL certificates, secure file transfer sftp SSH, F5 and load balancing of applications.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
