Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and technical executive to lead our team of Specialized Field Solutions Architects (SAs) focused on SAP Technologies. You will help hire and develop the industry's best cloud-based solutions architects by enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation skills, as well as how to create and present architectures of widely varying size and complexity. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of enterprise customers and partners by helping them implement innovative cloud computing solutions on AWS. Working closely with our services teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy SAP workloads.

You should be passionate about helping companies/partners understand best practices for SAP technologies on AWS, migrating workloads, and the modernization of legacy architectures. You will have an opportunity to be a thought leader in terms of looking beyond the technology and considering the value AWS technology can bring to our customers. You will help team members ramp-up on AWS as well as develop speaking, writing, presentation, and executive interaction skills. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering across teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your teams to executive management.

Key job responsibilities

  • Single-threaded ownership of a US-based Specialist Solution Architecture team focused on helping AWS customers migrate and maintain their SAP workloads.
  • Maintains key stakeholder relationships across AWS at a global level.
  • Serves as a technical executive sponsor for key accounts in the US.
  • Actively coaches and performance manages a high-performing team, holding a high bar for results and individual growth.
