Manager State Tax Compliance

What Were Looking For

• Manages and leads the entire corporate state income tax return compliance process utilizing ONESOURCE • Maintains, updates, and utilizes our state tax apportionment application built through Microsoft PowerQuery • Coordinates and handles state income tax audits and defense of our filing positions • Insure accuracy and completeness of tax returns being prepared, through maintenance of controls and review processes • Models and integrates acquisitions, tax law changes, changes in the business structure, and/or other tax planning opportunities • Ability to thoroughly research state tax positions • Assist with the federal tax return compliance process, as needed • Assist with federal and quarterly estimate and extension corporate income tax payments and filing forms, as needed • Manages a team of 2-4 individuals • Reviews, coordinates, and updates area goals and procedures with the Senior Manager, Tax Accounting and Tax Director

What Youll Bring

• Experience and proficiency with corporate state income tax compliance, including ONESOURCE • Analytical ability to review data, systems, and process to identify and resolve issues • Strong knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field • Basic understanding of the financial markets and financial services industry

Education & Experience

Minimum Required:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• Masters Degree Preferred
• Minimum Required: 5+ years of corporate state income tax experience
• Background in the ONESOURCE tax suite of products

Licenses & Credentials

Minimum Required: Series 99 or obtained within 6 months

• CPA Preferred

Systems & Technology

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Experience with Alteryx, PowerQuery/PowerPivot and Power BI Pro
