Job Title:

Manager, Tax - Global Provision & U.S. International Compliance

Job Description:

Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.

The role:

The Tax Manager will lead key components of the company's global tax function, with primary responsibility for the global tax provision and U.S. international tax compliance. This role blends technical depth with strategic impact, supporting research, special projects, M&A activity, audit defense, and process improvements across the tax lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑growing environment and can collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

What you'll do:

Global Tax Provision

  • Own the quarterly and annual global income tax provision under ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and tax account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with global finance teams to gather data, validate results, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Ensure the company complies with tax processes necessary for Sec. 404 compliance (SOX) and such compliance is timely evidenced with relevant supporting documentation.
  • Review and assist with provision to return reconciliations for both the US and foreign jurisdictions.
  • Prepare tax related financial statement disclosures in accordance with ASC 2023-09.
  • Prepare tax rate forecast models to support planning and reporting.
  • Prepare and review supporting documentation for internal and external auditors.

U.S. International Tax Compliance

  • Manage U.S. international filings, including NCTI, FDDEI, Subpart F, BEAT, PTEP, and foreign tax credit calculations.
  • Oversee preparation and review of Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and related schedules.

Research & Technical Analysis

  • Conduct technical tax research on domestic and international issues, documenting conclusions and advising leadership on risks and opportunities.
  • Interpret new tax laws, regulations, and guidance to support planning and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team on changes in method or policy to ensure they're accounted for appropriately for tax purposes

Special Projects & Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Support tax due diligence, structuring, modeling, and integration activities for M&A transactions.
  • Lead or contribute to cross‑functional initiatives involving tax technology, data automation, and process redesign.

Audit Support

  • Support federal, state, and foreign tax audits, including data gathering, issue analysis, and defense strategies.
  • Maintain organized audit files and ensure timely communication with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Process Improvements

  • Identify opportunities to streamline tax workflows, enhance controls, and improve data quality.
  • Implement technology‑enabled solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy across the tax function.

What we seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
  • 4-8+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in a mix of public accounting and corporate tax.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740, U.S. international tax, and multi‑jurisdictional compliance.
  • Experience with tax technology tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Vertex, tax return compliance software, Copilot).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across departments.

What Makes This Role Impactful

This position sits at the intersection of compliance, strategy, and operational excellence. You'll shape the company's global tax posture, influence decision‑making, and build scalable processes that support long‑term growth. It's a role for someone who wants both technical depth and meaningful business impact.
