How you’ll make an impact:
The Manager, Video Editor for the Video Programming Department will be responsible for creating story driven content which aligns with current programming and marketing initiatives. They will be responsible for editing video of daily content captures for social (organic and paid), PR, Programming, Commercial, Ad Sales, Talent, and Executive Leadership. They will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the SiriusXM video database. Responsibilities include working with video and photo assets, ingestion, downloading and organization of media for the Video Programming department.
What you'll do:
• Perform post-production of video content, including in-studio/off-site interviews and performances.
• Perform Social Media Optimization and versioning.
• Edit polished and professional content, including narrative sizzles, digital exclusives, marketing and sponsored content.
• Perform media management, including ingestion, downloading, organization and metadata tagging.
• Update and maintain footage database and file structuring.
• Edit Prep including project setup and media synchronization.
• Assist with creating professional digital video from broadcast audio, photography, and stock footage.
• Prepare content for broadcast standards, including TV and digital platforms.
• Travel to edit off-site events and content captures.
• Manage and prioritize multiple video and digital production projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's brand, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all video and digital productions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, marketing, and product, to develop innovative and effective video and digital production strategies.
• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality video and digital productions that meet business objectives and exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve video and digital production capabilities.
• Own end-to-end post-production strategy and editorial approach for large, cross-functional launches (e.g., major campaigns, series, and tentpole events), defining scope, timelines, and quality bars.
• Resolve complex, ambiguous production challenges through in-depth evaluation of variable factors (brand risk, legal/rights, platform requirements, accessibility, turnaround time, budget, and stakeholder priorities), recommending tradeoffs and paths forward.
• Define, document, and continuously improve standardized post-production workflows (templates, naming conventions, metadata taxonomy, storage/archival standards, QC checklists, and delivery specs) to improve speed, quality, and reliability across teams.
• Serve as a project/team lead on multi-editor or multi-vendor efforts: coordinate assignments, review work for quality and consistency, and ensure on-time delivery to stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach less experienced editors/producers through structured feedback, edit reviews, and best-practice sharing; raise team capability in storytelling, pacing, and platform optimization.
• Build and maintain dashboards or lightweight reporting to communicate production status, delivery readiness, and performance learnings (e.g., engagement drivers by format/platform), translating insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with Product/Marketing/Creative to define requirements for new formats and channels (including social-first and emerging platforms), and pilot new tools/techniques to improve output quality and efficiency.
What you'll need:
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 4 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. A Proven track record of delivering high-quality video and digital productions on time and within budget.
• Experience with project management tools, such Monday.com and Airtable.
• Strong understanding of video and digital production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects independently and influence cross-functional stakeholders through clear recommendations, strong judgment, and proactive communication.
• Experience establishing or improving post-production processes/standards (QC, media management, delivery specs) at team or org scale.
• Ability to mentor peers or junior team members (formal or informal), including conducting edit reviews and providing actionable coaching.
• Advanced Video Editing skills.
• Advanced Post-Production Workflows & Media Management experience.
• Advanced Social Platform Optimization & Versioning.
• Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the annual salary for this this position to be between $95,300 - $142,500 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
