How you'll make an impact in this role

Manage volunteer operations.

  • Coordinate, integrate, and implement volunteer representative services within all departments requesting volunteer assistance.
  • Manage the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the services offered.
  • Determine the qualifications and competence of volunteer personnel. Select, recruit and manage volunteers. Implements orientation and in-service training.
  • Manage department functions and maintain appropriate quality control through continuous assessment and

improvement practices. Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and

vendor relations.

  • Participate on various committees and councils to identify opportunities for patient services improvement and subsequently deploy volunteer services accordingly.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Volunteer Services preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate''s degree/Bachelor''s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
