Job Description

The Warehouse Manager provides operational leadership for a high-volume warehouse environment, overseeing process flow, productivity, inventory accuracy, team performance, equipment readiness, and compliance with safety and company policies. The role allocates resources across operational priorities, maintains effective warehouse processes, and coordinates with business partners to meet service and performance objectives. The Warehouse Manager builds an accountable, continuous-improvement culture and uses operational data and key performance indicators to identify issues, improve workflows, and support sound decision-making.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing performance in a warehouse or similar operational environment.

Skills and Ability:

  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, team-development, self-management, and goal-setting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, logistics, safety regulations, and operational best practices.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, spreadsheets, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, allocate resources, exercise sound judgment, and resolve operational issues.
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated willingness to take on greater responsibility and drive continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to operational excellence.

Work Conditions / Physical Demands:

  • This position is performed in a warehouse environment and requires regular activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials. The role may involve repetitive motions, operation of warehouse equipment, and exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Weekend or overtime work may be required based on operational needs. Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.

Pay & Benefits:

Compensation is determined by various factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal and external equity and organizational needs. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

The salary range for this position is $65,400 to $81,700 annually. The posted range reflects our national average range for the job. We may ultimately pay more or less than the published range based on the factors mentioned above. This range may be modified in the future.

  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste, reduce errors, improve quality, and shorten cycle time.
  • Build a culture of excellence by modeling professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and inventory accuracy within warehouse management systems.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure required service is completed.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and other business partners to align warehouse activities with operational needs.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and space utilization to improve efficiency and support changing business requirements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, establish benchmarks, analyze results, and implement performance improvements.
  • Prepare and communicate reports on productivity, inventory levels, and other operational metrics to leadership.
  • Conduct regular coaching and performance discussions to support employee development and reinforce expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
