Job Summary
Responsible for managing the Wellness Works and Center for Healthy Children programs for NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation. In addition this position has a fundraising aspect and is responsible for managing the Duck Classic auctions. Reports to the NEA Baptist Foundation Executive Director.Responsibilities
- Center for Healthy Children :
- Market program and recruit children to participate
- Create and lead progressive workouts for participants
- Collect pre and post measurement data on children enrolled
- Create and lead nutrition classes for children and parents
- Serve as a guest speaker to schools, industries, community events, etc.
- Manage Interns from Arkansas State University
- Wellness Works :
- Market program and recruit participants
- Develop and maintain educational materials
- Plan and implement program orientation and content
- Manage patient referrals from physicians
- Coordinate with Diabetes Education, Cardiac Rehab, and Oncology to provide disease specific nutrition classes
- Maintain communication with participants and referring physicians
- Fundraising :
- Responsible for Duck Classic Auctions
- Recruit and manage volunteers
- Plan and conduct meetings
- Create strategy to achieve goal
- Secure donations
- Manage online auction site
- Create correspondence to donors
- Identify grateful program participants
- Participate in grant writing and research
