Summary
The Manager of Workforce Management plays a critical management role in supporting leadership and is responsible for overseeing workforce management across the enterprise. The position supports system-level workforce management initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and enhance the organization''s Workforce Management Committee''s effectiveness. The position leverages advanced analysis, reporting, and workforce data to proactively shape decision-making, optimize financial performance, and implement workforce strategies that align with the organization''s overall goals.
Responsibilities
Leads the preparation of advanced analysis, status updates, reports, workplans, dashboards, and communication/planning activities, enhancing the functions of the system-level Workforce Management Committees.
Directs cross functional team of leaders and analysts within a collaborative and high-performance culture that supports workforce management reporting and initiatives across the enterprise.
Partners with business and facility leaders to proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities within financial operations and workforce management, including the development and implementation of workforce standards, internal benchmarks, and assessing the business impact of operational initiatives across the enterprise.
Spearheads workforce management projects, providing leadership in reporting and analysis for industry research, benchmarking, and operational feasibility studies.
Facilitate regular labor reviews with departmental and executive leadership teams.
Demonstrates a high level of autonomy, precision, and confidentiality in managing analytical and reporting functions related to workforce management, ensuring the protection of all patient, employee, and company data.
Oversees the delivery of accurate and consistent management reporting to facilitate expedited decision-making processes.
Leads in the standardization of productivity reporting, standards, units of service, and the application of internal benchmarks across the enterprise.
Manages the analysis and reporting from the productivity system used by all facilities, aiding in the monitoring of operational and financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
Develops and maintains internal benchmarking reports, utilizing department-level performance data to initiate process improvements towards best practices.
Provides advanced reporting and analytical support to facility leaders on various functions, including productivity standards, management and variance reporting, position control process, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, IT, budget, and other departments for system-wide accurate reporting.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience
Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience. Finance and operational experience supporting finance, operations, productivity, benchmarking and/or workforce management projects in a healthcare environment is preferred.
Education
Bachelor''s degree from a recognized college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business, Health Management/ Administration or a closely related field is required.
Skill
Management Competencies: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Skill in monitoring/assessing the performance to make improvements or take corrective action. Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate programs. Ability to establish goals and objectives. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Credentials
Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.

Physical Requirements - Job function is sedentary in nature and requires sitting for extended periods of time. Function may require frequent standing or walking. Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
