Job Description:

  • A Real Estate Attorney leading their own office within a larger firm is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the office's legal practice related to real estate transactions. This includes managing a team, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing strategic guidance to clients, driving business development, resolving disputes, and staying current with industry developments.
  • Additionally, this role involves handling administrative responsibilities such as budgeting, staffing, and overall office management to ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Business Development
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and grow the client base
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry
  • Client Management:
  • Deliver high-quality client service and align with client objectives
  • Manage relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Oversee budgeting, billing, and financial planning
  • Drive profitability and ensure financial sustainability
  • Lead and manage a small team in a collaborative environment
  • Delegate effectively and align team efforts with business goals
  • Handle complex real estate transactions
  • Ensure compliance and high standards in all legal matters
  • Develop strategies to enhance visibility and reputation
  • Build a strong presence in the local market
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active state bar membership and in good standing
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in real estate law
