Job DescriptionZwicker & Associates, P.C. is a national creditor rights law firm headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, with offices throughout the United States. The firm is committed to protecting the legal interests of prestigious lending institutions through ethical, compliant, and assertive representation in debt collection.The firm seeks a Managing Attorney to join the Honolulu office. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader, highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and a strong self‑starter with proven ability to manage people and processes. Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and proficiency with spreadsheets are required.Base salary: $160,000 – $180,000 per year, plus applicable bonus.ResponsibilitiesManage assigned portfolio of accounts to achieve client goals and protect client and firm interests.Implement, manage, and improve litigation processes to achieve goals efficiently.Interview, supervise, train, and assign duties to litigation staff.Liaise with Litigation Operations and Audit departments to ensure compliance with client expectations, firm policies, and local/state regulations.Train associate attorneys and staff on operating procedures and processes.Enforce production and performance expectations for all staff and attorneys.Review and execute legal pleadings, motions, etc.Send and respond to correspondence from opposing counsel, pro se parties, corporate office, litigation members, and courts.Advocate for client interests in motion practice hearings and trials, in person and telephonically when permitted.Draft pleadings, motions, responses, discovery, etc.Ensure appropriate account and case documentation, including retention via RMS notes and electronic storage, in compliance with State Bar requirements, Court Rules, and firm standards.Prepare for travel to courtrooms within the branch office footprint as required.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsAdmitted to practice law and in good standing in Hawaii.Minimum five years of civil litigation experience in a high‑volume environment.Debt collections experience (preferred).Previous management experience (preferred).Strong organizational and time‑management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of professionalism and strong commitment to ethics and compliance standards.Collaborative team player.Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to read and comprehend position‑specific documents and correspondence.Ability to interact and communicate verbally and in writing in a common language.Ability to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device.Ability to complete a minimum 40‑hour flexible workweek schedule.Physical QualificationsLift five pounds or greater.Sit 90% of the workday.Bend at the waist and be mobile when needed.Concentrate and use critical thinking.BenefitsThis is a full‑time, full‑benefit position.
