This role involves conducting the majority of new patient examinations, mentoring junior dentists, and coordinating patient care with specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough oral examinations and assessments to identify dental issues.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment plans for patients.
  • Carry out a variety of procedures, such as fillings, cleanings, extractions, and root canals.
  • Inform patients about effective oral hygiene practices and aftercare following treatments.
  • Keep precise and confidential patient records, including X-rays and treatment histories.
  • Refer patients to specialists (such as orthodontists or oral surgeons) for advanced treatments.
  • Guide and foster positive relationships with office staff.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to meet production targets, maintain clinical excellence, and enhance workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental institution.
  • Active, unrestricted dental license in the state or in the process of obtaining one upon graduation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing dentist.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • DEA certification.
  • NPI number.
