Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Healthcare Sales Leader to spearhead our strategic sales initiatives within the Healthcare vertical. This leadership role encompasses both acquiring new Enterprise logos and expanding existing client relationships with healthcare organizations. The successful candidate will excel in developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, leading and mentoring a team of Client Partners and Account Executives, and driving revenue growth to meet and exceed assigned annual targets through effective relationship management with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
Strategic Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Healthcare Client Partners and Account Executives, setting clear objectives and performance targets
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to both securing new healthcare clients and growing relationships with existing Enterprise accounts
Provide guidance, support, and coaching to achieve sales targets and drive professional growth within the team
New Logo Acquisition:
Drive efforts to identify, pursue, and close business opportunities with large healthcare organizations, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets
Cultivate strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers within prospective healthcare Enterprise accounts
Client Expansion & Relationship Management:
Develop and execute strategies to expand business within existing healthcare Enterprise accounts
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue and maximize client value
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor
Collaboration & Market Intelligence:
Work closely with marketing, product development, customer success, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to client engagement and service delivery
Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to adapt strategies accordingly
Effectively position solutions and anticipate client needs in the healthcare market
Travel: Ability to travel as needed to visit clients, team members, and attend meetings with senior leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
9+ years of experience in B2B sales and account management
3+ years in a leadership role managing sales teams
Preferred Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience focused on acquiring and managing Enterprise accounts, preferably in the healthcare vertical
Experience working in subscription, SaaS, professional services, or learning and development
Demonstrated success in leading teams to exceed sales targets in a competitive market
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence at various levels of the organization
Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to inspire and drive a sales team
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach
