Location: San Antonio, Texas (Hybrid)

YOUR TYPICAL DAY...
 
  • Advise executive leadership and business units on corporate, regulatory, transactional, and operational legal matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, lending agreements, and corporate legal documents
  • Partner with Human Resources, Marketing, Lending, Investments, Insurance, and other departments to provide practical legal guidance
  • Manage outside litigation counsel while protecting the organization's legal interests and minimizing risk
  • Supervise legal staff while helping lead the Legal Services Department and supporting corporate governance initiatives

YOU HAVE...
 
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas (or eligible for reciprocity)
  • 6+ years of legal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or highly regulated industry
  • Experience supporting financial institutions, banking, credit unions, financial services, or banking regulatory agencies preferred
  • Previous leadership experience supervising attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risk while supporting organizational objectives
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset
