Mantenimiento/Maintenance (Handyman)

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $25.00 an hour

The Facilities Maintenance Tech position for Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis in Irvine will perform and coordinate maintenance, physical appearance, and maintain the working ability of the dealership’s building, electrical, and  machinery. Perform miscellaneous errands, assignments, and tasks for all departments as directed.

What you'll do:

• Have a general knowledge of maintenance procedures for mechanical and associated equipment including pumps, fans, pneumatic controls, pressure valves, compressors, air filtration and all other machines.
• Minor troubleshooting and performance of preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and all other related systems.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and vehicles as directed.
• Maintains all light standards, display items, and any other equipment in a ready-for-use status.
• Delivers and picks up equipment to off-site locations and loads/unloads all materials.
• Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards.
• Maintaining and overseeing company grounds and buildings to ensure a safe and functioning environment.

What you'll need: 

• Ability to communicate quickly and effectively any issues/solutions/and updates to team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time & stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to handle a full shift of being active and working in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
