Role Details

• Where: Kalispell, MT
• When: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Compensation: $20–$30 per hour DOE

Your Mission

• Set up parts confidently using hard jaws, soft jaws, angle plates, and other workholding methods.
• Apply the right machining strategies to achieve superior finishes, quick cycles, and minimal setups.
• Select and adjust speeds/feeds to match material, tool, and tolerance needs.
• Plan work using blueprints, job travelers, and tolerance specs; expect simple setups to run about 15–40 minutes, faster on repeat parts.
• Run both manual mills and manual lathes to support and refine CNC operations.
• Verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and go/no-go gages.
• Protect throughput and deadlines without compromising quality.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in manual milling and turning.
• Strong knowledge of tolerances, GD&T concepts, and efficient setups.
• Ability to interpret complex prints and technical drawings.
• Comfort with precision inspection tools and methods.
• Math fluency across fractions and decimals.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
