Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled All Around Machinist with strong setup experience to join our team.
This role involves working with a variety of CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality components, primarily in short-run production environments.
The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple machine platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis)
- Work with Robodrill and DMG Mori Seiki equipment
- Operate manual lathe machines and Bridgeport mills
- Utilize Prototrak systems for machining operations
- Perform short-run production with frequent changeovers
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus
- Familiarity with SolidWorks and/or CamWorks
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a machinist with setup capabilities
- Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Hours:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate:
Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
