Manual Machine Tool Operator | Tulsa
Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

About the Position

We are seeking a Manual Machine Tool Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production role responsible for setting up and operating manual and semi-manual machine tools to manufacture precision parts that meet quality specifications.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, eager to learn, and takes pride in producing quality work. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for long-term growth.

Must-Have Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of machining, manufacturing, or related machine operator experience (or equivalent training).
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and follow all safety procedures.
• Dependable attendance and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and semi-manual machine tools.
• Produce precision-machined parts within required tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and document results.
• Read and follow work instructions and manufacturing specifications.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Technical or trade school training is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
• Experience reading blueprints is preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
