Our client is seeking experienced Manual Machinists to support precision machining, repair, and fabrication work. This role involves hands‑on machining using manual lathes, mills, grinders, and welding equipment in a fast‑paced, high‑accuracy environment.

Work Schedules:
- 2nd Shift: 3:30PM–11:00PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:30PM–7:00AM
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and related shop equipment.
- Perform turning, milling, threading, boring, drilling, grinding, and dynamic balancing.
- Document measurements, calculations, and work performed per company standards.
- Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Oxy‑Acetylene) and metal spray processes as needed.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision tools.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- High school diploma or GED.
- Precision measurement proficiency.
- Previous experience as a Manual Machinist.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 3+ years of manual or mechanical machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tolerances)
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to non‑standard machining tasks.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with balancing equipment.
- Experience with welding or metal spray processes.
- Technical certificate or associate degree in a mechanical or industrial field.
- Experience with “old‑school” machine setup methods using gauges for adjustments.
