Machinist – Manual  Lathes and Mill

  Barberton, Ohio
  Pay: $27–$30/hour to start
  Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  Excellent Benefits: Company pays 85% of premium

We are seeking an experienced Machinist with strong skills in both manual and CNC lathes and mills. This role offers consistent hours, excellent pay, and outstanding benefits with a company that values craftsmanship, precision, and long-term career growth.

 
Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, Edit and maintain manual and CNC lathes and milling machines
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Perform precision measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Read Calipers and Micrometers
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed to maintain production accuracy
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
• Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and quality goals

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands experience operating manual lathes and mills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and precision measuring instruments
• Solid problem-solving skills with a commitment to quality and safety
• Dependable, team-oriented, and eager to contribute to a stable, growing company
