    Description

    Job Title: Manual Machinist
    Location: Tully Town, PA
    Job Type: Full-Time, First Shift

    Pay Range: $21$38 per hour, depending on experience and position level

    Overview: We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a dynamic, fast-paced aftermarket service center. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform complete repairs on customer equipment while supporting team goals related to environmental health and safety, quality, on-time delivery, operating costs, and productivity.
    Schedule:

    Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.4:00 p.m.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Set up and operate manual mills and lathes efficiently, carefully, and accurately
    Operate a horizontal boring mill on a wide variety of diversified work
    Lay out work and produce quality parts
    Interpret sketches, blueprints, and engineering details
    Assist in establishing setup and layout methods, order of operations, and the application of required parts and materials
    Complete jobs from raw materials through finished products using drawings, sketches, samples, or verbal instructions
    Sharpen, rework, reset, and repair cutting tools
    Inspect and verify parts during production
    Maintain accurate production records and job histories
    Perform minor machine maintenance activities
    Assist with setting up complex machines
    Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished products
    Work at different workstations as production requirements dictate
    Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment
    Maintain a clean and orderly work area
    Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    Two to three years of relevant experience required
    Three or more years of machining experience preferred
    High school diploma or GED
    Experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes
    Extensive knowledge of machine applications and manufacturing materials
    Advanced knowledge of shop mathematics
    Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering documentation
    Ability to work with minimal supervision and resolve complex issues
    Willingness to learn established machining and safety procedures
    Horizontal boring mill experience strongly preferred
    Reciprocating compressor experience is a plus but not required
    Candidates with CNC machining backgrounds are encouraged to apply, provided they are comfortable operating manual equipment

    Physical Requirements:
    Follow all safety and environmental requirements, including wearing required personal protective equipment
    Use hands to handle objects, tools, and controls
    Reach overhead
    Work for extended periods while standing, stooping, bending, sitting, kneeling, or squatting
    Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment as required
    Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
