Our client is a manufacturer of high-pressure components.
-Set up and operate mills, lathes, drill presses and other metalworking equipment
-Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
-Verify settings on the machines
-Follow guidelines and procedures for both safety and quality
-Learn to do heat treating, sandblasting and flattening or polishing
Required Skills & Experience:
-At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a shop operating lathes, mills and/or drill presses
-Knowledge and understand of how to read blueprints and technical drawings
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Some experience programming CNC machines is a plus
