Manual Machinist/Lathe Operator
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist/Lathe Operator for our client in Sebring, Ohio. Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
Pay:
Up to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Set up machines by reading customer drawings and holding tolerances to within .001 (and occasionally tighter)
Process orders of 1-4 pieces
Modify G-Code programs when necessary
Set off-sets as needed
Select proper tooling and inserts for each job
Operate overhead cranes and fork lifts
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years relevant machining experience
Ability to read blueprints accurately
Knowledge of machine-to-blueprint specifications
Must have own tools
Must have a valid drivers license
Ability to work overtime when needed
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with medium to large lathes
Familiarity with G-Code programming
Preferred Education and Experience:
3+ years of manual mill and lathe experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to lift and load heavy parts with overhead cranes and forklifts
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and standing for long periods
