Seeking a skilled Manual Machinist. This position involves operating manual mills and lathes to produce precision components. The ideal candidate will be experienced in manual machining and dedicated to producing high-quality, tight-tolerance parts in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to manufacture components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers.
- Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify part accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and processes as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with manual milling and lathe operations.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement tools.
- Knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and material properties.
- Prior experience in high-precision environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
