Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Manual Surface Grinding Technicians and Machinists in Oceanside, CA. This position involves operating manual surface grinding equipment and vertical milling machines, ensuring precision and accuracy in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual surface grinding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Plan grinding operations to optimize time management.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels using knowledge of tool steel.
• Operate vertical milling machines proficiently.
• Utilize measuring tools and equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating manual surface grinders.
• Tool and Die experience is preferable but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating manual vertical milling machines. Lathe experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work full shifts while standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
