Position Summary
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Test Scripts Writer to support the development and implementation of NC FAST Project O&M modules.
The resource will analyze business and technical requirements, develop test conditions and test cases, write and execute test scripts, support test automation, and ensure testing artifacts are accurate and complete.

Position Summary

The resource will analyze business and technical requirements, develop test conditions and test cases, write and execute test scripts, support test automation, and ensure testing artifacts are accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Functional Specification Documents, Business Requirements Documents, and Technical Design Documents for testability and completeness.
- Develop requirements into test conditions, test cases, and test scripts.
- Develop and execute test scripts using qTest.
- Automate test scripts using TOSCA.
- Support testing of software to identify defects and ensure proper functionality.
- Review test cases and other testing artifacts for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate testing activities and track testing issues.
- Provide reproducible test cases to help diagnose and recreate defects.
- Work with product team members to prioritize and implement solutions.
- Collect and analyze test scripting data according to project schedules.
- Follow established testing standards, practices, and procedures.
- Experience and proficiency in using test tools qTest including TOSCA, NeoLoad
- Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
- Experience with requirements analysis and automated test cases/script development.
- Experience with manual or automated testing, testing tools, writing test plans and reviewing test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communications skills in order to interact on a daily basis with system developers, business analysts, and others.
- Ability to prioritize tasks within the project and work with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Stable work history.
- Experience with testing Curam products.
- Experience with testing for a health and human services project.
- Experience with writing & executing SQL to validate or test.
- Experience navigating on a UNIX platform.
- Experience developing and executing Tosca automation test scripts.
- Experience in using Jira & Sharepoint.
