McElroy Metal is seeking a Manufacturing Accountant (Cost & Inventory Management) to join our Corporate Accounting team in Bossier City, Louisiana. In this role, you'll analyze product costs, maintain standard costing, oversee inventory accounting, and provide financial insights that support operational performance. You'll partner closely with manufacturing and operations leaders to improve costing accuracy, strengthen inventory controls, and help drive informed business decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys collaborating across departments and making a meaningful impact. About the Division The Accounting Department resides at the Headquarters for McElroy Metal. Comprising over a hundred employee-owners, the corporate location has several departments that support our manufacturing, sales and retail departments. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F Responsibilities

Our parent company, McElroy Metal, began manufacturing metal building components in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1963. After years of selling materials to large contractors and building manufacturers, the first Metal Mart location was opened in Austin, Texas in 1985 as a retail outlet, open to the public. The plan was (and is today) to cater to the metal component needs of the do-it-yourself homeowner, contractor, farmer/rancher, local industry, municipalities and service businesses.
Since then, we have grown to over 40 locations in 5 states. We are proud of our growth and attribute it to the combination of great customers, great products and great employees.
