• 10+ years of combined manufacturing/industrial/construction engineering and operations experience rn
• BS in engineering, planning, or Production/operations management rn
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead projects of large scope and duration rn
• Ability to interpret and work with engineering sketches, design specifications, redline markups, calculations, existing drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) rn
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor) to review detailed drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, and models compliant with SAE/ASME Y14.1 and Y14.5 (GD&T) rn
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and construction methods relevant to the types of drawings being produced (e.g., mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural) rn
• Experience in the defense industry and / or working on military installations rn
• To work at this facility, you must be a US person rn

• Licensed Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer rn
• Experience with naval or industrial power plants rn
• Functional familiarity in the use of one or more of the following CAD or modeling software packages: SolidWorks, Revit, Inventor rn
• Knowledge and/or experience with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) rn
• Well versed in both mechanical and electrical planning rn
• Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems for drawing control and revision management rn
• Current DoD Secret clearance rn

• Provide direction and oversight for complex and long-term design, integration, and construction projects. rn
• Review for manufacturability rn
• Integration and construction plans and schedules rn
• Progress and status reporting rn
• Identification and planning of resources and equipment rn
• Staffing and assignment of design, manufacturing, and process engineers, and technical and planning personnel, as required, through Kratos' functional organizations (engineering, manufacturing, etc.) rn
• Review and approval of contractor plans rn
• Oversight of contractor personnel on-site rn
• Work with professional engineers, civil planners, and local government authorities from planning and approval through integration, test, and turnover rn
• Reporting and presentation for senior-leadership and customers rn
• Safety, cost, and schedule management rn
• Intermittent domestic travel, up to 50% in some months, is required rn
