    Job Title: Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer

    Job Description:

    Performs technical tasks including research, development and the improvement of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency, ensure safety and minimize the excessive use of resources.

    Your main tasks

    • Process Development & Optimization :
    • Design, develop, and validate new manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and performance requirements.
    • Optimize existing processes to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance yield.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization.

    Industrialization & New Product Introduction (NPI) :

    • Support the industrialization of new products from prototype to mass production.
    • Develop process flow diagrams, PFMEA, standards work instructions .
    • Participate in cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain).
    • Coordinate trials, pilot builds, and validation phases.

    Production Support & Root Cause Analysis :

    • Provide technical support to daily manufacturing operations.
    • Support Quality analysis and investigating using tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, DMAIC, PFMEA.
    • Implement robust corrective and preventive actions for existing processes.
    • Monitor KPIs (OEE, cycle time, scrap rate, downtime) and deploy improvement plans.

    Equipment & Tooling Management :

    • Define equipment and tooling requirements; collaborate with ME team Or suppliers.
    • Commission and validate new machines and fixtures.
    • Improve machine performance through upgrades and parameter optimization.

    Your ideal background

    • Engineering or master's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent (Mechanical /Automation)
    • 2+ years of experience in Process Engineering, preferably within the automotive sector (Cable Assembly)
    • Knowledge of Automotive Core Tools - APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, 8D , IATF 16949:2016
    • Good Communication level (English / French)
