Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Manufacturing - Assembler - Advanced for their Santa Clara, CA location.
Responsibilities:
- The assembler will be responsible for assembling electromechanical prototype products in an engineering lab environment.
- The candidate will be required to collaborate with project stakeholders regularly to understand daily tasks in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Follow verbal and written process steps for assembling prototype products
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to develop best assembly practices
- Propose improvements to reduce product cost and assembly time
- Redline assembly procedures and Bills of Materials based on findings
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers with developing work cells
Requirements:
- Experience range to 5-10 years.
- Associate degree or higher in manufacturing or mechanical engineering (preferred)
- Experience with hand tools (screwdrivers, torque drivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.)
- Soldering experience
- PCBA (through-hole and SMT) certifications/experience (preferred)
- Fabrication skills (e.g., hand drill, drill press) (preferred)
- Familiarity with production and lean principles (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey complex information and build consensus
