We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Assembler Level I that has precision, speed, reliability and excellent teamwork skills. If this sounds like you then DITEK Surge Protection is the place for you.

The Manufacturing Assembler Level I is responsible for supporting DITEK's manufacturing process by the assembly and test of product to specific instructions and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Manufacturing & Quality Control functions by assembling, soldering, and testing products per the approved processes and procedures.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
  • Communicate effectively with other work stations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assembly and soldering of thru-hole devices.
  • Set-up and perform assembly and test per production schedule.
  • Build products as required.
  • Rotate through multiple stations to ensure maximum efficiencies and preparation.
  • Ability to be trained on ESD practices and the IPC standards.
EDUCATION
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the manufacturing of Printed Circuit Assemblies and their associated processes preferred.
  • A high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to understand verbal and written communications in English.
  • Capable of following written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Reasonable verbal communication skills.
  • Capable to improve processes, performance, and troubleshoot assembly problems.
  • Ability to reason thru process development and support of new technologies.
  • Computer skills preferred.
  • Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • Assemble components to specifications.
  • Familiarity of tools, devices, equipment, and calibrated equipment.
  • Ability to perform all functions of the job classification without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
