Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler I

Location: Chanhassen, MN

Duration: 12 Months

Pay: $22.12 per hour on W2

Summary:

• Perform basic electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks.
• Work under guidance using mechanical diagrams and instructions.
• Disassemble, rework, or reassemble units to meet production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assembly tasks using work instructions and verbal guidance.
• Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the supervisor.
• Participate in quality checks, audits, and inspections.
• Engage in quality and productivity improvement activities.
• Report injuries and participate in accident investigations.
• Operate basic computer programs as necessary.
• Complete required documentation such as time sheets and supply issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to maintain documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subsystems.
• Proficiency in using small hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer operating experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proven mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of soldering techniques, plumbing/piping systems, and electro-mechanical components.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet production schedules.
