Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join a medical device manufacturing team in Olathe, KS. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on assembly, soldering, inspection, and working in a quality-focused production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Use hand tools including torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
• Perform mechanical assembly and soldering according to detailed work instructions.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Complete production documentation and ERP transactions accurately.
• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
• Identify and report quality issues and nonconformances.
• Follow FDA, ISO 13485, and internal quality procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, soldering, or inspection experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand tools.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Strong visual attention and fine motor skills for detailed assembly and inspection.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical device manufacturing or other regulated-industry experience.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
