Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler / Production Technician

Location: Irving, TX
Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Duration : 12 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembler / Production Technician to assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will perform assembly, testing, calibration, and inspection activities to support daily production goals and maintain a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble instruments and components using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and limited automated equipment.
  • Perform testing, calibration, and verification procedures to ensure product accuracy and reliability.
  • Inspect incoming components and finished products for compliance with FDA, ISO, and internal quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Product Development teams to resolve concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including material control records and non-conformance reports.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, Quality Management System (QMS) standards, and safety regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency goals.
  • Train and mentor other assemblers as needed based on demonstrated proficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Experience using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs or more.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, ISO, Medical Device, or related industry).
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience with product testing, calibration, and inspection processes.
