Company Description

Rolen Technologies services the transportation industry by engineering, designing and fabricating the interior components of commercial trains. In Rochester we are currently working on several transportation/train projects for which we provide bathroom units for new trains. At the facility we assemble the bathroom units and ship them to our clients - Alstom & Rotem - so they can place them in their trains.

Job Description

Job Summary:

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Production Fabricator to join our team. If you know your way around blueprints, hand tools, and machine tools-and you take pride in doing things right the first time-we want to meet you.

What You'll Do:
  • Assemble components and products according to technical specifications and assembly instructions.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and report defects or malfunctions in assembly processes.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and workflow.
  • Maintain records of assembly production and report progress to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and instructions
  • Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
  • Good eye for detail and steady hands
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for most of the shift
  • Team player with a problem-solving mindset
  • Must have personal transportation (nearest public transportation is 2 miles away)
