Job Overview:
POSITION: ASSEMBLER- MFG.
SHIFT: M-F - 5AM-3:30PM (OT as required)
LOCATION: 76134
PAY RATE: $18-24 PER HOUR
DURATION: TEMP TO PERM AFTER MIN. 90 DAYS. BENEFITS ONCE PERM. PAID HOLIDAYS AS A TEMP.
ENVIROMENT: MFG/WHSE FACILITY, jeans/pants, shirt and steel toes are required. Non-climate-controlled facility.
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Assemblers to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with various tools and equipment. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the production process by assembling components and ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties:
Assemble products according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to fabricate parts and complete assemblies.
Perform inspections on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to maintain efficient workflow.
Operate forklifts as needed to transport materials within the warehouse or factory setting.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and report them to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in assembling manufacturing facility is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints or assembly instructions.
Digital and dial caliper experience preferred. Must have measurement/math skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs. unassisted) and stand for 10+ hours per shift.
Forklift experience is required.
Excellent attendance is mandatory.
Requirements:
CLEAN CRIMINAL HISTORY REQUIRED.
PASS A DRUG TEST REQUIRED.
DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED.
VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
