What to expect
Manufactures aerospace and turbine engine components. As a Finishing/Blasting Operator, you'll clean and finish metal castings using blasting equipment and hand tools, inspect parts for quality, and prepare them for the next stage of production. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail while working with precision aerospace components.
What the job involves
As a Finishing/Blasting Operator, you will:
Operate blasting equipment to clean cast metal parts.
Remove excess material, scale, and surface imperfections from castings.
Use hand tools, grinders, and air tools to smooth and finish parts.
Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Read work instructions and follow aerospace manufacturing specifications.
Wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures in the manufacturing environment.
Hours - 1st shift & 2nd shift available
Pay rate - $19.00
Steel-toed shoes are required.
